Download Reineryu OS Setup

Public download: media creator, not the 8.47 GiB Windows ISO. A Windows app that prepares your installation USB. Installing this app does not replace Windows; the clean installation starts when you boot the completed USB.

Your download

Choose Download. Keep this page open while your file is downloaded and checked.

Before you begin

Install in six steps

  1. Open OS Setup

Open Reineryu-OS-Setup.exe from Downloads. Follow Setup and choose Open Reineryu OS Setup. You can reopen it from Start later. If Windows blocks the unsigned preview, keep protection enabled and follow its guidance.

  2. Get your Windows ISO

In the wizard, click Download Windows 11 from Microsoft. On that page, choose Download Windows 11 Disk Image (ISO) for x64 devices, then English (United States). Save it, return to the wizard and click Choose Microsoft ISO. The accepted publisher hash is shown under source details.

  3. Choose your USB

Connect the spare USB, click Refresh USB list and choose its model, capacity and serial number. Confirm your Windows license and click Prepare installation files. Approve the Windows administrator prompt using the same account.

  4. Review and create

Wait while Setup verifies the ISO, adds Reineryu and splits large Windows image files for the USB. Check the selected USB again, confirm its files are backed up and type the displayed ERASE USB phrase. Click Create and wait for file verification to finish.

  5. Boot the USB and install

Safely eject it, connect it to the backed-up destination PC and open that PC’s boot menu. Choose the UEFI USB entry. Keep TPM and Secure Boot enabled. Follow Windows Setup, choose your licensed edition and carefully identify the installation disk. Stop if you cannot distinguish it from another drive; do not delete unfamiliar partitions. The installer does not choose or erase an OS disk automatically.

  6. Meet Reineryu Control

Finish Windows account and privacy setup. Reineryu Welcome and Control are staged to install automatically, with the Reineryu theme. Use Windows Update and your PC manufacturer for drivers, then open Control from Start. Review supported on/off switches, diagnostics and recovery before changing settings.

Latest OS image and release status

A complete 0.10.3 installation ISO has now been assembled locally: 8.47 GiB, with Control, welcome, themes and recovery assets included. Its 1,001 files passed packaging integrity checks. Boot and installation were not run. Read the image details and installation routes.

The installer, graphical media wizard and Control app are built. Software checks include database recovery, UI flows and simulated USB failure cases. This remains a preview: real boot, clean installation, recovery and game compatibility are not established. No FPS or latency improvement is claimed.

The supported Microsoft ISO is build 26300. Controls with a validated-build ceiling of 26200 stay unavailable on it pending review; diagnostics and guided Windows settings remain available. Simulations do not remove that compatibility limit.

Keep your current Windows instead

Choose Control for your current Windows to add the app without installing an OS. For an existing Reineryu OS installation, use the all-user Control update. Close Control, run the matching installer and reopen it. Saved recovery records and preferences are kept.

If something stops

The ISO is rejected

This wizard accepts the original Microsoft ISO, not the assembled Reineryu ISO. Check the language and x64 edition. English International is a different download. A changed Microsoft image requires an updated Reineryu source profile; renaming the ISO will not help.

No USB appears

Refresh after reconnecting the drive. System drives, disks with Windows, missing serial numbers or unreadable partition layouts are excluded. Keep the app and ISO on your internal drive. Try a different spare USB.

The USB does not boot, or a disk/network driver is missing

Stop and use your PC manufacturer’s UEFI and signed-driver guidance. Keep your original recovery media available. Do not disable security or erase another disk to work around a failed boot.

Control reports a recovery database error

Close and reopen Control. Preserve the recovery folder; do not delete state.sqlite or reset it. Version 0.10.3 detects incomplete databases and saves a local error report. Reinstalling app files preserves your history. A missing recovery record cannot be recreated from a simulation.

Remove the media wizard

Use Windows Settings → Apps → Installed apps → Reineryu OS Setup → Uninstall. This removes the wizard, not Windows or the USB contents.
